FAQ

First Visit

What should I know before taking my first class?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early and use the call box downstairs to dial us. You can find the studio name by scrolling through the call box. Press the green phone button once and we'll buzz you in.
While we welcome drop-in participants with “wings” wide open, Fly Club strongly encourages clients to reserve their space in class ahead of time. Regrettably, classes with less than 3 participants are subject to cancellation no later than 6 hours prior to scheduled class start, as this ensures we are able to adequately notify affected staff and students.

-- Due to COVID-19 in person classes are limited to one person per pole or 8 people per non-pole class to main 6ft apart until restrictions are lifted. Please visit https://www.flyclub.studio/covid-19 for more information

What should I wear and bring to class?

Great question! Here are some things to consider before your Fly Club class.

  1. Avoid using lotion or oils before class as you will not be able to stick to the pole. If you have very dry skin, we recommend using Corn Huskers Lotion.
  2. Wear whatever you are comfortable in. We recommend shorts and a sports bra for pole as the more skin you have exposed, the easier it is to stick to the pole.
  3. Heels in pole classes are always optional, socks work well too.
  4. For movement and floorwork classes, it always helps to bring leggings and knee pads. We offer these items for purchase as well.
  5. For yoga and movement classes wear yoga pants, tank, bra, or shorts.
  6. Bring a mat and towel, if you have one. We provide yoga mats at no cost if you don't.

-- Due to COVID-19, we are no longer supplying mats, blocks, or straps until restrictions are lifted. Please visit https://www.flyclub.studio/covid-19 for more information

How do I sign up for class?

We ask students to sign up online before coming to the studio. This is to ensure that you've signed the liability waiver and read our Terms & Conditions. To sign up for regular drop in classes, visit https://flyclub.studio/classes

Do you limit class sizes?

The size of our classes depends on the type of class. We try to accomodate 2-3 people per pole in our pole classes. Our yoga and movement classes is typically alloted for up to 20-25 people. -- Due to COVID-19 in person classes are limited to one person per pole or 8 people per non-pole class to main 6ft apart until restrictions are lifted. Studio Policies

What is your class cancellation policy?

There is a 6-hour cancellation policy for all Fly Club classes. Class cancellation may be completed via online scheduler or email info-at-flyclub.studio. Failure to cancel within the designated 6-hour time frame will be regarded as a “no-show” and will incur a $20 charge. Members will also be charged $20 in the event of late cancels and/or no-shows or a $10 late/no-show fee for Open Studio.

Private lessons require a $50 non-refundable deposit.
All purchases are non-refundable, but may be transferred when provided with a minimum of 6 hour notice.

Do you have a late policy?

To keep our students and teachers safe, we lock the doors during class at the class start time. Doors open 30 minutes prior to class and remain open for 30 minutes after the end of class. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to class start time to avoid being late. Clients will be unable to enter a class if they have arrived past class start. Clients who arrive after class start time will be regarded as a “no-show” and assessed the corresponding charge of $20, or $10 for Open Studio. We thank you in advance for your assistance in creating optimal class experiences!

Can I bring food in?

With the exception of bottled water, food and beverages are not permitted within the studio spaces. Addtionally, the consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or us of other controlled substances prior to class participation and/or physical activity at the studio is prohibited. Attempts to attend class while under the influence will result in non-participation and loss of monies.

This space is cool, can I rent it?

Studio rentals are available on an hourly basis and a 48-hour cancellation policy applies. Studio rentals are for personal use (i.e., filming, rehearsals, training, etc.); not for instruction or profit purposes. If you're interested in renting the space, please email us at info-at-flyclub.studio.
